THE LAST OF ALEXANDER MCQUEEN

That I think we will be seeing in a while. This is his last collection titled Hells Angels & Prolific Demons Autumn / Winter 2010 and to be honest - look like complete works of art.

Robert Polet, chairman and chief executive officer of Gucci Group, was overcome as he rushed backstage to see the design team. “It was a very moving experience to take a deep and serious look at his last collection. It showed Lee’s unique talent to create pieces of beauty that touch many of your senses, leaving one enriched,” Polet said later, after composing himself. Then he added, “Although the sense of loss afterwards, I found overwhelming.”

My eyes are cathcing the immense note of detail in all his garments, the fine folds, cuts, studs and emelishment. His attention and eye for colour was something unique. I hope that this is how all of you will remember McQueen. Unbelievable.
