On Friday morning we gathered at the M!MCO city store to welcome the latest collection of accessory goodness - Kaleidoscope Cinematopia. None other that the face of the campaign Jessica Gomes (@iamjessicagomes) introduced us to the range, and talked us through the campaign's shoot, done in Palm Springs at the luxe Parker Hotel by an all-Australian cast, including photographer James Geer and cinematographer Mandy Walker, with styling by Mimco’s own Cathryn Wills.

Inspired by the thought of a meeting between Pablo Picasso and Coco Chanel in 1920’s Paris - Kaleidoscope Cinematopia brings us a range full of metal detailed heels and flats, block-coloured sling bags and clutches, beautiful block heeled pumps and statement necklaces. FASHION WEEKEND

An unmissable event that comes back every year is the Sydney Fashion Weekend - packed full of premium designers on sale - all under one roof. Sound like heaven? Well it might be just that.

Last night I had the pleasure of browsing the racks of Ksubi, Ginger & Smart, Miss Unkon, Bec & Bridge, Camilla and Marc, Peep Toe, Jets Swimwear, Rachel Gilbert and more - whilst sipping champagne with my girlie and just having an all-round good night. Every day designers showcase their best buys on the catwalk, while you can wander between the tables and racks sipping on your favourite Tempus Two.

I was of course drawn to my obsession of shoes, and may have come home with a thing or two. But with 70% off what's not to love. Tickets are still available for Fashion Weekend Sydney - get yours here - and be sure to bring your pocket money.

With Fashion Week coming to an end, don't think the fun is over quite yet.

Bendon 2012

Now I know a lot of you work in / live for the fashion industry, and though I'd let you in on an exciting event happening this weekend in Sydney-town. Leading intimate apparel company Bendon, in collaboration with Chic Management, will launch its first ever ‘Bendon National Model Search’ to find the faces and bodies that will represent the company’s brands. Bendon’s underwear brand portfolio includes Pleasure State, Elle Macpherson Intimates, Lovable, Bendon, Bendon Man, Macpherson Men and Davenport Underwear.

One successful entrant will win a contract with Bendon and have the opportunity to appear in fashion shows, photographic shoots and promotional events, as well as model for Bendon’s brand catalogues and soon to be launched online store.

The open casting for men and women will be held on Saturday 24th March from 10am – 3pm at Bendon’s Sydney HQ (that's this Saturday...!) Female entrants must be aged between 16 - 30 years of age and male entrants must be aged between 18 – 30 years of age. They are looking for all shapes and sizes, so don't be shy.

Can't sleep - had a good night with the lovely ladies from Sweaty Betty PR celebrating the launch of the Gorillaz collaboration with Converse - as well as hailing their new release "Do Ya Thing" featuring André 3000 and James Murphy.

With lovely people like Rochelle, Darren, Jessie, Sara and Life Without Andy on location things don't get much better than this. And the art... I have been obsessed with the Gorillaz artwork since high school. I have always been in complete and utter awe of Jamie Hewlett - what a man.

I can tell you this much - The shoes are awesome. The track is awesome. Sweaty Betty are awesome for inviting me along. As a loyal Conserse-girl, I am definitely getting my paws on these babies... after all I am now know as the puppyrazzi...

Sunglass Hut's opening night for their floating Pop-Up Store 2011

Well, well.

Last night was a bit of a fun one, hopping a board the one and ONLY floating Sunglass Hut store in the world! We were pampered by an amazing venue filled with palms, sand and boys in boardies, and of course the best part - the sunglasses. Later in the evening we were all serenaded by none other than Jason Mraz himself (rocking a pair of Ray-Ban's), who is seriously just out-of-this-world cool, and damn can the man sing live. Damn.

For a limited time the floating Sunglass Hut store will be open to the public to come and have a perve on these amazing eye-wears. Sunglass Hut's best sellers will be available for purchase, as well as a special 150 styles that will NOT be available for purchase anywhere else in Australia until next year.
