I can justify strutting around in a tiny leather skirt when I'm top-covered by 100% cashmere softness - like this Speakeasy Cable knit. Today me and my beautiful colleague Aley joined the crew at the Iconic to celebrate the beginning of the Olympics at the Ivy Pool - more of that later.

Working pretty much 20 hour days drains me as much as it fires me up - it's a strange addiction where RedBull meets deadline and there no time for anything but production. It's a state I loathe to love, but it's the kind I'm finding myself in right now, drowning in ideas and things that I want to DO.

Yet I have the time, at 11:38pm on a Saturday night, to share this with you. I don't really know why, but I just knew I had to. I've been zipping around in this wonderful jacket today, which makes me feel a bit like Superman. With feathers printed all over it, makes me believe that I can (almost) fly - this is a good thing, mostly.

This shirt makes me feel cool. I don't really know in what way or why, but it's loose fit and insane print has some sort of cool factor that I can't really describe, but it feels good.

I'm a busy bee as usual this week, I have more on my plate than what I can probably handle but at the same time I'm really excited about what the future holds. And let's face it, in heels like this - I can do anything.

Pleats & Noirs

So whoop for my Miu Miu Noir's, which make me feel particularly fancy - any time of day or night. And though my boyfriend's slightly raised eyebrow as I tried them on, being the last pair in Australia until they are officially released in February next year - I couldn't help myself. All thanks to Sunglass Hut and their totally amazing Floating Pop up Store earlier this month.

This dress, on another note, is like a perfect piece of considerably put together magic on a hanger. It's just one of those things you throw on and it falls / sits to perfection, without any required effort. We love.
