The
Victoria's Secret Angel is almost unrecognizable in the below
Greg Kadel-shot editorial for the new issue of
Numero. Miranda Kerr has worked over time lately to create and work a new look that I'm not sure I'm loving. But she is definately
breaking the mould of the brunette bombshell we first began noticing big time on the VS runway. But has Miranda Kerr made a change too great? Talk around the new looks she has been sporting in
i-D and V Magazines are usually of her bleached mane and her "waif" and different look. But then again,
isnt' it a models job to be able to look
different, and be versatile? I think Miranda has sucseeded with this above and beyond, and even though I might prefer her in her old brunette locks and bronzed skin I love how she can seem to
adopt a role (not only looks wise) for a shoot or a runway show.
This editorial for
Numero Magazine, titled
Bad Education -the shoot mixes Catholicism, innocence and school yard imagery with a sexual undertone that's not unlike the Pedro Almodovar film of the same name. Think
"Hit Be Baby One More Time" with Kerr sporting strawberry-blond locks and posing provocatively with cellos, bubblers and morally questionable Nuns. The Aussie models has big plans ahead with
Jil Sander, which I know I, and a lot of other people are anticipating highly. All the best to
THE one and only
Miranda.
