Menagerie.

L'avion 'Menagerie' Silk Scarf, Posso vs. Volcom 'Cape Dress', JC shoes, rings etc from South Africa

A menagerie is/was a form of keeping common and exotic animals in captivity that preceded the modern zoological garden. The term was first used in seventeenth century France in reference to the management of household or domestic stock. Later, it came to be used primarily in reference to aristocratic or royal animal collections.

This divine silk scarf from little (amazing) find L'Avion makes me feel everything it represents - feminine, cheeky and spoilt. These pretty little creations each have a story behind them - each illustrated by different artists - this one in particular by Sarah Hankinson. The term L’avion means ‘the airplane’. It symbolises the romance of travel, seeking out a new destination or just enjoying the smaller journeys in everyday life.

There happens to be a little competition going on L'Avion's Facebook page, so if you feel like it please get in and support me.

PS - Two voters get a $150 L'Avion gift... so get in there.

Let me tell you, this scarf is wearable in a million different way and can't go wrong any way you choose, I say simple is sweet.
