The day proceeded with not many plans, but we managed to escort our asses (in the CAR!!) to Macquarie, where we found ourselves SHOPPING! Hahah OH NO... (not!) I peeked in to Sportsgirl but managed not to let myself in... So we came home with a sandwich toaster, which will probably be my new love. I miss the late nights after going out and coming home and making toasties with my brother. BEST.
But! It all started off with breakkie at the T2 café - there are only two in Sydney (Macquarie and Hornsby) and I have never been to one, but have always waled past and wanted to go. Divine. But the service could have been better, and my Chai latte came out semi cold, instead of semi warm. Whatever. Kids were running it behind the counter and the most important this is they seemed to be having fun! Probably the best toasted sandwich I have had in a loooong time (until tonights dinner). Coffee is shocking. But who would go to a tea shop for coffee anyways!? (nudge). The interior was inquisitive, exciting and inventive, which made the whole atmosphere worth while. Definitely recommend it.
Am now doing freelance work from home the rest of the weekend. I enjoy it with a glass of sparkling rosé ;)
